about DR. lashonda wofford

Dr. Lashonda Wofford is a WOG, wife, a mother, a sister, a grandmother, a friend, and a proven CEO. She has founded and built several successful organizations, including an affirmation collection, L&S Consulting Group, and Wofford & Williams Inc. DBA Akins Helping Hands. She is a community advocate and personal development partner who encourages all to bet on themselves through her All Bets on Me platform on Facebook. 

Through various pains and struggles, Dr. Wofford has learned to bet on herself and accomplish her goals despite adversities. She holds a PhD in Christian Education. She is a successful businesswoman of color who breaks the ceiling and creates tables for other women to have the same opportunities as she has. Some of Lashonda’s noteworthy accomplishments are serving in the following roles: accredited certified instructor for Purpose Zeal Academy, certified executive leadership coach, certified life recovery coach, certified mental health counselor and a certified transformation coach. 

She is also a five--time best-selling author for the anthology project, Blessed Not Broken, Vol. I, her solo project Pain Equals Purpose, anthology Igniting Your Purpose , 90 Days of Biblical Affirmations for Christian Women in Business and Ministry, and Love Business Marriage allof which can be purchased at www.mrslashondawofford.com. She is the recipient of the 2022 ACHI Award for Public Service. 

Dr. Wofford is a proud member of Sigma Tau Sigma Sorority, and she strives to live out God’s plans for her life as she engages with others. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren), relaxing, reading, and practicing good self-care habits. She is a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina, and currently makes her home in Hope Mills, NC, with her husband and their family.
